Philippe Poutignat, Chairman & Co-Founder
20 years of experience in software engineering, flight simulation and 3D graphics. In addition to his responsibilities as a Chairman, he also drives research and software development. Prior to funding Visioglobe, Philippe spent 12 years at Thales Training Simulation to develop all advanced visual effects for Image Generators and offered consultancy in 3D real-time image generation during 8 years for big companies.
Philippe enjoys choir singing, piano playing, tennis, swimming, skiing, gliding and paragliding.
Eric Bernard, CEO & Co-Founder
After Airplane studies, a Business School and an MBA, Eric started to work as an Oracle Consultant for major companies in Europe, such as EA Sports, Atari, Michelin, Gemplus. He then joined SQLI, a Software service company in France, as an Account manager and finally worked for a leading web agency in Europe: Fi-System, as a South East France Director. He met Philippe in 2007 and decided to take on the Visioglobe challenge.
Eric is a fan of all activities related to water: wakeboard, under water fishing and scuba diving. If not in the water he’s in the air with some hours piloting and fond of aerobatics. On the ground he likes rugby and active player of the 3rd semi time!
Hector Briceño, VP Engineering
MIT PhD ‘97 ‘97 ‘03 and Engineer with technical knowledge in 3D Graphics, Operating Systems, Networking, and Mobile Devices and experience with start-ups. His academic, teaching, tri-lingual and multi-cultural experience allows him to communicate well, to understand the customer needs and to work with diverse teams to create great products. Hector enjoys doing mountaineering, backcountry skiing, trail running, and ice climbing on his free time.

André Meyer
From 1970 to 2000, Andre Meyer held strategic management positions and P&L responsibilities within Ericsson Telecommunications, Philips Group, Hewlett Packard, Cegetel/SFR.
In 2000, he founded and managed for 6 years VoluBill, a world leader in Telecommunication real time billing applications.
Andre Meyer acquired a broad experience in developing leading in-house and spin-off initiatives, as well as domestic and international operations. Currently, André Meyer splits his energies between Board participations and strategic guidance for young high tech companies.
André likes Skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving and learning to pilot small airplanes.
Alexandre Saltiel
Mr Saltiel has 23 years of international sales development experience in the IT industry both in B2C and B2B markets.
Currently Mr Saltiel works with dan:office as Managing Director for their Swiss operation.
He has also led the turnaround of troubled companies in Thailand and Switzerland. Previously he has managed three start-ups and ensured both the successful merger and technology sale to partners.
Previously Mr Saltiel worked for Navman, one of the leading GPS Navigation companies, where he led and implemented Navman mobile navigation business unit in EMEA.
Most recently he co-founded GPS Business News, which is the world’s leading online media portal for the GPS industry.
Mr Saltiel brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the GPS industry and growing technology businesses in this sector.
In the summer, rugby enables Mr Saltiel to enjoy both team and winning spirits while skiing is his favorite sport choice in the winter.
